    Malt mashing
    Crushed malts are mixed with warm water to extract natural sugars, creating a smooth, flavourful wort that forms the base of the brew.
  • Filtration and boiling
    Filtration and boiling
    The wort is filtered to remove solids, then boiled to enhance flavour, sterilize the liquid, and prepare it for hop additions.
  • Fermentation and cooling
    Fermentation and cooling
    Yeast is added as the wort cools, beginning fermentation where sugars are converted into alcohol and complex aromas develop.
  • Filtered & Poured
    Filtered & Poured
    The finished brew is carefully filtered for clarity and goes straight to kegs and is served fresh on tap.

Old Mill Brewing Co. did a great job capturing the Oktoberfest spirit with their beer lineup. The craft brews were fresh, well-balanced, and offered enough variety to keep things interesting. Each pour felt festive — crisp lagers, smooth wheat beers, and seasonal specials that paired perfectly with the lively atmosphere.

Loved the microbrewery vibe at Old Mill, and the jamun inspired special dishes were a delightful surprise especially the pizza and salad which added a refreshing fruity zing between sips of craft beer. Friendly staff, decent crowd, and the usual favorites like Biryani and Bao rounded out a great evening. Loved it

Had an absolutely fantastic time celebrating Oktoberfest at Old Mill Brewery in Varthur! The atmosphere was vibrant and full of energy, with great music and a lively crowd. The brewery did an amazing job of capturing the true spirit of the festival. I had a lovely time and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and memorable experience. Special shoutout to Junior Bhaskar for recommending the best dishes and lovely service!! Can't wait to visit again!
